What is chronic pain management?
Back pain (BP) is common and in fact most adults have experienced back pain at one time or another. Back pain includes Neck and Low back pain. LBP usually common and occurs anywhere below the ribs and above the legs. Your lower back bears most of your body weight and is the connection between the upper and lower body. Therefore it’s very easy to hurt your back with wrong postures especially when you lift, reach, or twist.
Some Causes of back pain include:
BP could be acute or chronic depending at the time of injury. However, it’s most likely to become long-lasting (chronic) if you are under stress or depressed.
Some symptoms of Back Pain
This depends on the cause; Back pain can cause a range of symptoms. The pain may be dull or sharp, achy or throbbing or, It may be constant or off & on.
Neck Pain may radiate to both arms while Low back pain may radiate to the leg(s); You may experience numbness, or tingling, often extending to the fingers or below the knee depending whether pain is at the neck or back. Pain could be accompanied with muscle spasm.
